Share your work with holiday shoppers at Art Center Sarasota's 2026 Holiday Sidewalk Sale! Artists, artisans, and makers are invited to reserve an outdoor booth to sell original artwork, handcrafted goods, jewelry, ceramics, textiles, home décor, holiday gifts, and more.
Held during the peak holiday shopping season, this festive outdoor market offers a wonderful opportunity to connect directly with the community, introduce your work to new collectors, and celebrate the creativity of Sarasota's local artists. Whether you're an emerging maker or an established artist, the Holiday Sidewalk Sale is the perfect place to showcase your work and be part of a fun, community-centered event.
The Holiday Sidewalk Sale will take place throughout the Sam & Sally Shapiro Sculpture Garden, the Andrew & Lathrop Ford Bayfront Sculpture Garden, and the Bay Front Promenade in front of the Art Center.
The 2026 Holiday Sidewalk Sale will take place on Saturday, December 5, 2026 from 10:00am - 4:00 pm.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Applications are open from Tuesday, August 18 - Sunday, November 1, 2026.
- Artists will be notified of acceptance no later than Friday, November 6, 2024.
- All artwork must be for sale and prices must range from $5 - $500.
- Participating artists will be given an 8' booth space with enough room to fit a 6' table.
- Artists can bring their own 6' table or rent a 6' table and chair from ACS for $20.
- ACS will not take a commission on your sales. Artists are responsible for taking payment from customers.
- In case of inclement weather, the rain date is Sunday, December 6, 2026.
Participation fees:
- General: $100
- Student: $50
LOGISTICS
- Setup will take place from 8:00 - 10:00am.
- Breakdown is 4:00 - 5:00pm.
- Artists are welcome to bring easels, display boards, or other display options for their artwork as long as they fit within the designated space and do not infringe on the space of neighboring vendors.
- Limited power is available. There is no access to water.
- Table/Tent fees are non-refundable.
For consideration, please upload the following information:
- 8-10 photos of artwork of your primary medium for sale
- Current Bio/CV
- Instagram and/or Facebook handles for promotion
- One square image to be used for promotions
- Please indicate any special needs for your booth in the Additional Information section
- If selecting the student rate, please upload your Student ID
A detailed map of booth assignments will be provided once all vendors have confirmed their participation, no later than Friday, November 20.
We encourage all vendors to make their booths the best representation of themselves, their artwork and ACS. Aesthetically pleasing booths and friendly vendors attract guests and create a delightful experience. Consider your booth as a unique opportunity to engage customers not only with your products and process, but also to encourage them to explore and shop at other vendors.
